Condensation liquid silicone rubber
Liquid silicone rubber using low viscosity polysiloxane-based polymers, no need complex mixing and molding processing equipment, at room temperature or slightly heated through contacting with moisture or mixed with cross-linking agents, can be vulcanized into elastomer. Condensation type and a few additive products can be vulcanized into elastomer at room temperature, so it is also called room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber (referred to as RTV rubber).
Liquid silicone rubber is composed of three basic components.
(1) Base polymer with active end group polydiorganosiloxane
(2) The cross linking agent contains silanes or siloxanes with 2 or more poly functional groups
(3) Catalyst Sn, Pt, amine, etc
Condensed liquid silicone rubber with its many varieties, excellent performance, strong adaptability and easy to use and so on to win people's favor, although its development history is short, but the development rate exceeds the mixed type silicone rubber, it is the most active field in silicone polymerization products.
Condensation liquid silicone rubber is based on hydroxy-terminated polydiorganosiloxanes, such as Ho (Me2SiO) nH, and polyfunctional silanes or siloxanes as cross linking agents. Under the action of catalysts, condensation can occur in the presence of moisture or mixing at room temperature to form three-dimensional network elastomer. According to the packaging method of the product, it can be divided into single packaging or double packaging. The former system mixes the basic polymer, filler, cross-linking agent and vulcanizing agent into a uniform adhesive under dry conditions, and then it is packaged, sealed and stored. When used, extruded rubber material, contact with atmospheric moisture, can occur condensation reaction, cross-linking into an elastomer; The latter system divides the relevant components into two packages for sealed storage according to their chemical properties. When used, it can be mixed according to a certain ratio, condensation reaction can occur, and cross-linked into an elastomer.
Application:
At present, the application field of condensed liquid silicone rubber is mainly concentrated in glass wall curtain gap filling adhesive, electronic and electrical potting adhesive, adhesive, various mold model materials and so on
