Tightening rope and band are popular in the market which used in sports shoes, sweatpants, yoga wear, hooded jacket, using colored or transparent liquid silicone dipped and fully cured, to bring a distinctive highlight to the clothing. Liquid silicone has natural adhesion to some fabric fibers. As long as the rope is soaked in liquid silicone by hand or machine,then pumped out at room temperature, the silicone ink can be naturally cured and firmly adsorbed on the surface of the rope. The cured silicone has soft texture and moderate elasticity, making the clothing closer to the human skin.
The two-component liquid silicone rubber can be cured at room temperature (25℃) by adjusting the composition, such as placing vinyl silicone oil, silica and catalyst in component A, placing hydrogen-containing silicone oil and inhibitor in component B (delaying liquid silicone solidification and aging), and the AB component is stirred through a certain proportion and then reaction occurs and solidifies into elastic colloidal. In the rope dipping process, diluent can be added to dilute silica gel for easy soaking, and color paste can also be added for coloring.
Most of the traditional cable soaking process uses manual soaking. The process is generally to fix the rope neatly on the shelf first, and then use a container to stir the silicone, thinner, color paste, etc., and soak the end of the rope in the silicone ink. The ink can be cured naturally after soaking. Now developed automatic integrated rope soaking machine, including soaking machine, cutting machine, and placing rack, more convenient operation, higher productivity. The operation process is as follows:
(1) The rope that needs to be dipped in glue is neatly coded on the placing rack, and then the shelf and the rope are placed on the soaking machine together, the ink container automatically lifts the end of the soaking rope.
(2) After one soak and coloring, the rope band is cut flat by a cutting machine, and then colored twice.
(3) After secondary coloring, bright silicone and matte silicone can be used to cover the surface.
(4) Place the rope on the rack and wait for natural curing.
