Product Overview
XG-360KY is a high-transparent liquid silicone for creating three-dimensional raised and recessed logos, letters, patterns and decorative textures on textile materials. Unlike ordinary flat printing, the embossing mold forms controlled height differences, recessed lines and surface textures. After the basic 3D structure is formed, selected surface areas can also be combined with additional colors or special surface effects according to the design requirements.
XG-360KY is used with the XG-866B series platinum catalyst. According to the technical data sheet, the product features high viscosity, good elasticity and rebound, good firmness, and resistance to yellowing.
What Is a Raised and Recessed Embossing Effect?
The key purpose of embossing is not simply to make a silicone layer thicker. The mold forms the silicone into a controlled 3D relief structure with different heights and depths. Depending on the mold design, the finished logo can include:
• Raised logos and lettering
• Recessed lines, grooves or internal details
• Combined raised and recessed multi-level structures
• Geometric textures and decorative surface patterns
• Different mold depths for a more dimensional 3D relief effect
Main Product Features
1. High Viscosity for Mold Forming
XG-360KY Part A has a typical viscosity of 900,000 ± 100,000 mPa·s. The high-viscosity paste helps the silicone maintain its body during forming and supports the reproduction of raised, recessed and textured mold structures.
2. Good Raised and Recessed Detail
With an appropriate embossing mold, different height levels, grooves, lines and surface textures can be created within the same logo. Final detail depends on mold accuracy, silicone amount, textile substrate and actual forming conditions.
3. Elasticity and Rebound After Curing
XG-360KY has a Shore A hardness of 38 ± 2, tensile strength of at least 7 MPa and elongation at break of at least 450%. These properties help cured 3D embossed patterns retain flexibility and recovery.
4. Good Structural Integrity
The typical tear strength is at least 20 kN/m. The technical data sheet also describes the product as having good firmness and being difficult to peel. Correct substrate and process matching help maintain the integrity of the embossed logo.
5. Surface Color and Special Effect Compatibility
After the raised and recessed 3D structure is formed, selected areas of the embossed surface can be further processed with additional colors or special surface effects according to the logo design. This allows the relief structure to be combined with contrasting surface colors-for example, keeping the main embossed body in one color while adding red or another color to selected top surfaces or details. The exact surface-color process should follow the actual production method and compatibility test.
6. Yellowing Resistance and Compliance
The technical data sheet describes the product as non-toxic, odorless and resistant to yellowing, and states compliance with RoHS and REACH requirements.

Recommended Embossing Process
Step 1: Mix the Silicone
Use XG-360KY with the XG-866B series platinum catalyst at the listed A:B ratio of 100:2 and mix thoroughly until uniform. If the base silicone itself requires a background color, use a compatible silicone pigment according to the actual formulation. Surface multicolor or special effects are treated separately after the 3D structure is formed.
Step 2: Prepare the Fabric and Mold
Select an embossing mold according to the logo design and position the textile and mold correctly. Raised areas, recessed grooves and texture details in the mold will directly determine the final 3D structure.
Step 3: Emboss and Form
Apply the silicone according to the actual production process and form it with the mold under suitable temperature, pressure and forming time so that the silicone follows the mold structure and creates the required raised, recessed and textured relief effect.
Step 4: Optional Surface Color or Special Effect Processing
After the basic raised and recessed structure has formed, selected surface areas may be further processed with red or other colors, multicolor combinations, or special surface effects according to the logo design. The exact sequence, material system and processing conditions depend on the actual production method and should be confirmed by testing.
Step 5: Final Curing
After the required relief structure and optional surface effect are completed, carry out final curing according to the actual textile, silicone system and production setup. The current XG-360KY TDS does not specify fixed embossing or final-curing parameters, so these conditions should be confirmed by process testing.
|
Note: The current XG-360KY technical data sheet does not specify fixed embossing temperature, pressure or forming time. These values should therefore be established by sampling and production testing according to the fabric, mold structure, pattern size and equipment. |
Typical Applications
According to the XG-360KY technical data sheet, typical substrate applications include cotton, cotton-blended fabrics and shoe-upper materials. For raised and recessed embossing, typical finished designs can include:
• 3D raised and recessed garment logos
• Brand marks and lettering
• Raised numbers and recessed text
• 3D shoe-upper logos
• Geometric textures and decorative patterns
• Multi-level relief designs
Why Choose XG-360KY for Raised and Recessed Logos?
The value of an embossed logo is not simply its thickness. The mold controls different heights and depths so that the logo has a visible and tactile 3D structure. XG-360KY combines high viscosity with good elasticity, rebound and mechanical strength, and the formed relief can also be paired with selected surface colors or special effects to create stronger visual contrast.
Packaging and Storage
Packaging: 20 kg per pail. Store in a cool, dry environment below 25°C. The technical data sheet states a recommended shelf life of 12 months under the specified storage conditions. The product is classified as non-dangerous and may be transported as a general chemical while preventing leakage.
Processing Notes
Carry out a small-scale test before mass production to confirm compatibility among the silicone, fabric, pigment and embossing process. Platinum-cured silicone may be inhibited by certain substances, including incompletely cured condensation silicone, amine-cured epoxy resin, water, organotin catalysts, acids, alkalis and some sulfur-, phosphorus- or nitrogen-containing organic materials.
Short Product Description
XG-360KY 3D Embossing Silicone is designed for producing raised, recessed and textured silicone logos on textile materials through mold forming. With good forming performance, elasticity, rebound and firmness, it is suitable for three-dimensional brand logos, letters and decorative relief patterns. After the 3D structure is formed, selected surface areas can also be further processed with additional colors or special effects to create more distinctive visual designs.
