Product Overview
XG-360KY is a highly transparent liquid silicone designed for producing thick, raised and three-dimensional silicone patterns on textile materials. Its high viscosity and strong thickness-building performance make it suitable for creating 3D logos, raised lettering, brand marks, geometric designs and decorative textures.
XG-360KY is used with the XG-866B series platinum catalyst. After curing, the silicone provides good elasticity, rebound, firmness and yellowing resistance. Typical applications listed in the technical data include thick silicone pattern printing on cotton, cotton-blended fabrics and shoe-upper materials. Both manual and machine screen printing can be used according to production requirements.
Key Product Features
1. High Viscosity for Easy 3D Thickness Build-Up
Part A has a typical viscosity of 900,000 ± 100,000 mPa·s. The high-viscosity paste helps the silicone hold its shape during printing and makes it easier to build thick layers through repeated printing, creating a more pronounced raised and three-dimensional appearance.
2. Good Elasticity and Rebound
The cured silicone has a Shore A hardness of 38 ± 2, tensile strength of at least 7 MPa and elongation at break of at least 450%. These properties help thick 3D patterns remain flexible and recover well instead of becoming excessively rigid.
3. Good Firmness and Resistance to Peeling
The product is described as having good firmness and being difficult to peel. A typical tear strength of at least 20 kN/m also supports the mechanical integrity of the cured silicone pattern when the material and process are properly matched.
4. Transparent Base for Custom Colors
XG-360KY is supplied as a transparent paste. Compatible silicone pigment can be added according to the required design, allowing customized colors for 3D logos, lettering and decorative patterns.
5. Yellowing Resistance and Compliance
The technical data sheet describes the product as resistant to yellowing and compliant with RoHS and REACH requirements, supporting textile silicone applications where appearance stability and material compliance are important.

Raised 3D and Thickness-Building Effect
The main advantage of XG-360KY is its high viscosity and ability to build thickness. The silicone can be screen printed in multiple layers according to the required pattern height. After each printing pass, the silicone pattern is heated until the surface becomes dry before the next layer is applied.
By gradually increasing the silicone thickness, manufacturers can obtain a more visible raised structure and stronger 3D appearance. Depending on the artwork, screen construction and production process, the material can be used for raised logos, letters, numbers, brand marks, thick silicone graphics, geometric textures and decorative patterns.
Recommended Application Process
Step 1: Printing Preparation
Prepare the screen, squeegee and textile substrate for the required artwork. Position the fabric correctly and check the substrate surface before printing.
Step 2: Mixing and Color Adjustment
Use XG-360KY with the XG-866B series platinum catalyst at an A:B weight ratio of 100:2. Add compatible silicone pigment as required and mix thoroughly until uniform.
Step 3: Screen Printing and Thickness Build-Up
Transfer the mixed silicone to the screen and print with a squeegee. After each printing pass, heat the silicone until the surface becomes dry before proceeding with the next pass.
Step 4: Build the Required 3D Height
Repeat printing and surface-drying as needed to reach the target thickness. The number of printing passes should be determined by the artwork size, screen, fabric and required final effect rather than by a fixed number.
Step 5: Final Curing
Complete final curing after the required thickness and appearance have been achieved. The available technical data does not specify one universal final curing temperature or time, so a small-scale application test should be carried out to confirm suitable conditions for the selected fabric, pattern thickness and equipment.
Suitable Materials and Applications
- The technical data specifically lists cotton, cotton-blended fabrics and shoe-upper materials as typical substrates for thick silicone pattern screen printing. For garment applications, compatibility should be confirmed through a small-scale test before mass production.
- Cotton fabrics: raised 3D logos, thick lettering and decorative graphics
- Cotton-blended fabrics: raised brand marks and patterns
- Shoe-upper materials: raised logos and decorative textures
- Garments and related textiles: 3D silicone graphics after compatibility testing
Typical Design Forms
- 3D raised logos
- Raised letters and numbers
- Brand marks
- High-build silicone graphics
- Geometric textures
- Decorative textile patterns
Packaging and Storage
XG-360KY is supplied in 20 kg pails. Store the product in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Under the recommended storage conditions, the stated shelf life is 12 months. Product beyond the stated shelf life should be checked before use. The technical data classifies the material as non-dangerous and suitable for transportation as a general chemical product, with appropriate precautions to prevent leakage.
Processing Precautions
A small-scale suitability test is recommended before mass production. Use compatible silicone pigment for color adjustment to reduce the risk of incomplete curing. Platinum-cured silicone can be inhibited by certain materials, including incompletely cured condensation silicone, amine-cured epoxy resin, water, organotin catalysts, acids, alkalis and some sulfur-, phosphorus- or nitrogen-containing organic substances. Appropriate personal protective equipment and good workplace ventilation should be maintained during processing.
Product Positioning
XG-360KY is well suited to textile silicone applications that require a combination of high-viscosity thickness build-up, a pronounced 3D appearance and flexible cured performance. Its Part A viscosity of 900,000 ± 100,000 mPa·s supports high-build printing, while elongation at break of at least 450% helps maintain flexibility. A Shore A hardness of 38 ± 2 provides a practical balance between raised structure and soft, elastic performance. For customers producing thick raised logos and decorative silicone patterns on cotton, cotton blends, shoe uppers and tested garment substrates, XG-360KY can serve as a core product option.
