The XG-360KY series is a high-transparency liquid silicone designed for use with the XG-866B series platinum catalyst. It is primarily used for thick silicone pattern screen printing on cotton, cotton blends, and shoe upper fabrics. Suitable for both manual and mechanical printing, XG-360KY offers excellent viscosity, elasticity, and rebound, making it an ideal choice for fashion apparel, footwear, and accessory decorations.

Application Steps

Embossing Silicone For Logo Printing Process (Mechanical Heat Press Example):
Fabric Preparation
Select heat-resistant fabrics to prevent deformation during heat pressing.
Printing Embossed Silicone
Mix XG-360KY-65 with XG-360B-2 (choose the side for the convex mold)
Evenly apply on the fabric where the pattern will be printed, ensuring uniform thickness
Ensure molds are aligned with the fabric for precise pattern placement
First Heat Press
Place fabric in the middle
Convex film on top, concave mold at bottom
Heat press settings: Top plate 180°C / Bottom plate 120°C
Pressing time: 35 seconds
Result: embossed pattern with uniform thickness and strong adhesion
Post-Forming Coloring
Prepare coloring silicone: XG-866A-6 + 10% color paste + 2–3% XG-866B-2 catalyst + 10% XG-128AH thinner
Pour into the third mold
Replace the previous concave mold
Heat press with the same temperature and time (Top 180°C / Bottom 120°C, 35 seconds)
Result: pattern with uniform thickness, clear embossing, and color-ready
This process ensures uniform thickness, clear embossed patterns, and colorability for multiple coloring applications.
Precautions
Conduct small-sample tests before bulk use
Use the company's dedicated color paste to avoid incomplete curing
The following may inhibit curing; small-scale tests are recommended:
Incompletely cured condensation silicone
Amine-cured epoxy resin
Water, organotin catalysts, acids, alkalis, or sulfur-, phosphorus-, nitrogen-containing organics
Use personal protective equipment, maintain good ventilation, and avoid ingestion or open flames
Packaging, Storage & Transportation
Packaging: 20 KG per drum
Storage: Cool, dry place below 25°C, shelf life 12 months
Products beyond shelf life should be checked for abnormalities before use
Non-hazardous material; transport as general chemicals and prevent leakage
