Glitter Water-Drop Silicone Ink is a high-visual-impact silicone printing system designed to create sparkling, three-dimensional water-drop effects on textile surfaces. By combining high-purity silicone resins with multi-colored glitter flakes, this system delivers a bright, glossy, and shimmering finish while maintaining fabric flexibility and wash durability. The printed water-drop effect provides a tactile yet subtle raised texture, adding depth and a premium appearance without compromising the softness of the textile.
This process is especially suitable for fashion garments, decorative graphics, logos, and functional textiles where vivid glitter highlights, dynamic color play, and a high-end visual effect are required. Printing Process of Glitter Water-Drop Silicone Ink
Step 1: Glitter Water-Drop Silicone Ink
The water-drop effect is created using a specially formulated silicone ink combined with multi-colored glitter flakes. This step builds the base layer and visual sparkle effect in one pass.
Silicone Ink: XG-866A-2Y (80%) + XG-399-6W (20%)
Glitter Flakes: Blue 5%, Light Blue 5%, Purple 5%, Orange 5%
Printing Method: Flat printing with one pull stroke
Printing Times: 1 pass × 4 squeegee strokes
Effect: Produces sparkling, semi-transparent water-drop textures with multi-color glitter highlights
This controlled multi-glitter formulation ensures even distribution, vibrant sparkle, and a raised, droplet-like surface while maintaining the natural feel of the fabric.
Step 2: Final Curing
Temperature: 120°C
Time: 10–15 minutes
Curing consolidates the silicone matrix, locks the glitter flakes in place, and enhances surface gloss, elasticity, and wash resistance. The water-drop effect remains flexible, elastic, and durable even after repeated laundering or mechanical stress.
Optional Adjustments
For optimal performance, thinner can be adjusted according to mesh count, fabric type, ink thickness, and environmental conditions. Fine-tuning ensures uniform glitter distribution, consistent water-drop shapes, and smooth, high-gloss finishes.
