Liquid silicone, with good fluidity, high transparency, tear strength, resilience, yellowing resistance, water resistance, good air permeability, heat aging and weather resistance, at the same time, moderate viscosity, easy to operate, high transparency products, fast vulcanization, safety and environmental protection, in line with food grade certification and other characteristics. In terms of application, liquid silicone is generally used in baby products and kitchen supplies, medical supplies, clothing printing, can directly contact with food and human body.

Liquid silicone has a hardness range of 0-80 Shore hardness, suitable for direct skin contact clothing printing.

The Shaw hardness tester is mainly divided into three types: Type A, Type C and type D. The measurement principle is same, but the difference is that the size of the measuring needle, especially the tip diameter is different, type C is the largest, type D is the smallest.

Type A is suitable for general rubber, synthetic rubber, soft rubber, poly fat, leather, wax and so on

Type C is suitable for rubber and plastic, plastic containing foaming agent made of micro porous materials

Type D is suitable for general hard rubber, resin, acrylic, glass, thermoplastic rubber, printing board, fiber and so on.

Liquid silicone tensile strength is more than 13MPa, tear strength is more than 50kN/m, suitable for high elastic fabric printing.

Liquid silicone has natural adhesion to cotton and cotton blended fibers, while nylon, polyester, waterproof and smooth surface fibers need to be linked by a linking agent.
