Description
Our Glossy Silicone Inks can be used in many applications such as pad printing, screen printing, painting, they are flexible and opaque materials with a good gloss after use and can be further surface treated by overprinting the fabric to achieve a matt or high gloss surface on top of the printed pattern. They have both excellent gloss and fast levelling properties, no problems with air bubbles when mixed and melted, and are well suited to machine and hand printing.
Features
Our Glossy Silicone Inks are formulated without any toxic or irritating substances, which allows them to come into close contact with the skin without causing irritation. They also have good abrasion resistance after printing, and the print has a highly smooth, glossy colour and is thick and flat to the touch. In addition, the prints are also very tough, so that even if you pull or twist the fabric, the pattern will not crack significantly. In addition, the colours of our inks are so vibrant that they last for a long time and do not fade.
Preparation before screen printing:
Mesh Number:120(48T)
Squeegee:65-75 degree squeegee.
Pigment Adding Ratio:20% for white and fluorescent color,10% for other colors.
Catalyst Mixing Ratio: fast dry catalyst 2% XG-866B-2
XG-128A Thinner Adding Ratio:0-20%,thinner is not necessary for hand printing.
Silicone ink screen printing process:
Print 2 layers with XG-866Ah and 2% XG-688B-2 fast dry catalyst and then print 3-4 times for pigment color screen printing.
HD silicone XG-866AH 100G
Red color pigment XG-302 10G,20% for white and fluorescent color,10% for other colors.
Fast dry catalyst XG-866B-2 1.2G 2%(slow dry catalyst for machine printing)
Silicone thinner XG-128AH 6G 10%
Cured by temp of 120℃ 6-10 seconds.
The process of glossy effect printing:
Print 2 layers,and wait 5 minutes to make silicone leveling,then bake.
Glossy silicone ink XG-399-3 50G
Fast dry catalyst XG-866B-2 1G 2%
Thinner XG-128AH,thinner is not necessary for hand printing,5-10% is enough for machine printing.
Cured by temp of 100℃ 10-20 seconds.
Matte silicone ink XG-866M 50G
Fast dry catalyst XG-866B-2 1G 2% (slow dry catalyst for machine printing)
Thinner XG-128AH thinner is not necessary for hand printing,5-10% is enough for machine printing.
Cured by temp of 100℃ 8-10 seconds.
After printing finish, to heat by 100℃ to 120 ℃ with 5-10 minutes.
