Common Problems Of Non Curing Liquid Silica Gel

Leave a message

Liquid silica gel is an environmentally friendly, non-toxic and harmless silica gel material, also known as platinum silica gel, additive silica gel and food grade silica gel. Because of this, it is deeply loved by many customers and gradually replaces the traditional plastic products; Some customers have just come into contact with liquid silica gel and do not know much about the use of liquid silica gel materials. As a result, some phenomena such as non curing or sticky after curing occur during the use of liquid silica gel. Today, I have summarized some common problems for your reference.

1、 When the liquid silica gel comes into contact with non environmental friendly materials such as sulfur, tin, lead amine, etc., it will be poisoned and not cured. The liquid silica gel will form lumps, or the surface will become sticky after curing, or it will not be cured completely, which will cause production waste.

2、 The AB component must be fully stirred during use. If it is not stirred evenly, the adhesive will not cure or cure incompletely, which is similar to sticking hands.

3、 Component AB is not added in proportion. If component A or component B is added more or less, incomplete curing of silica gel will also occur.

As for the incomplete solidification of liquid silica gel, the common problems are the above. There are still many problems that need to be solved by ourselves in production. If you have any questions, you are welcome to call us for advice.
