The main difference of water based ink and oil based nylon solvent ink is using different solvent. The first one uses water as solvent,the second one uses organic solvents as solvents.
The quality is not good to print T-shirt with water bases ink. The clothes will fade after washing many times. But It won’t fade to print oil based nylon solvent ink. Because it is through mesh screen printing. Water based ink printing will be dry very fast,so it can speed up the production.But for oil based nylon solvent ink screen printing, it will take longer time, it is harmful for people’s skin but it’s more colorful and beautiful and more durable. Water based ink printing is slightly lighter,but it won’t destroy the environment.
How to oil based nylon solvent ink screen printing?
Mesh:180-300 mesh
Squeegee:70-75 degree flat squeegee
Thinner: Alcohol cyclohexanone adding ration lower than 25%, If dry too fast, use slow dry water or slow dry paste for dilution, adding ratio: 5%-10%
Steps:1 print 1 layer with SNC-110A based solvent ink and 10% SNC-110B catalyst for ink based coating.
2, Choose any color ink of SNC series,add 2% 9013 curing agent,print 2-4 layers.(layer numbers is up to your requirement.)
3,Dry at room temperature for more than 12 hours,If for baking, please bake it dry with 30 minutes by temp 60 degree.
