What is the best ink for t shirts screen printing?
There are three kinds inks which are common used on the market nowadays:water based ink, plastisol ink and silicone ink. Silicone screen printing is the best way and the most using way for sportswear or t shirts screen printing.
Plastisol Ink
Since the plastisol ink doesn’t contain solvent,the volatilization amount is very small at room temperature.It will be cured when heating a certain temperature.Therefore, it will not dry at room temperature, which brings great convenience to use and storage.
No blocking mesh
Plastisol is suitable for various fabrics such as 100% cotton, cotton/polyester blends, polyester, dark and light fabrics, denim, etc.
Water Based Ink
Water based ink saturates the fiber instead of resting over it,Thus,it is soft and solid,however,this does mean that colors have lower opacity.
Water based ink is cured through evaporation,it should be cured in a relatively dry environment or by heating.
Silicone Ink
Silicone ink is an eco friendly screen printing ink,it’s toxic free and safe.It has high hiding power, high gloss, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance,good adhesion, and does not hurt the substrate, pure and bright color,strong weather resistance.It is widely used for screen printing on fabric t shirts and etc.
