Chameleon silicone screen printing is most popular nowadays. With putting chameleon powder when silicone screen printing, the finished product will have chameleon effect,you can see different colors in different angles. How to chameleon silicone screen printing?
Preparation before screen printing:
Mesh:100-120mesh(40-48T)
Squeegee:65-75 degree beveled squeegee.
Pigment adding ration:5%
Chameleon powder adding ration: 2%
Catalyst adding ratio: 2% fast dry catalyst XG-866B-2
Thinner adding ratio: within 10% XG128AH
Flash curing temp: 100℃-120℃ for 6-10 seconds. Just bake longer time for drying
The steps of chameleon silicone screen printing:
Print 4-5 layers for silicone base coating with 866AH high density silicone ink,2% 866B-2 fast dry catalyst and 10% thinner XG-128AH
Print 2 layers for color printing with add 5% pigment into the left silicone ink.
Print 2 layers for glossy effect with 399-3 glossy silicone ink,2% chameleon powder and 2% 866B-2 fast dry catalyst.
Bake it dry with 120℃ about 2-3 minutes after all screen printing finished. Please don’t forget to flash bake the surface dry after each time screen printing, then to print another layer.
